This elective is designed further enhance the medical student's ability to recognize and manage neurologic disease. Building on the core clerkship experiences, this rotation will solidify student competency in gathering clinical information and accurately communicating those findings to the care team, patients, and their families. It will also provide advanced clerkship students the opportunity to focus on honing analytical skills interpreting and synthesizing historical, physical and diagnostic information and acting on that information to appropriately triage and manage patients presenting with neurologic symptoms.
